# Terms of Use

> Terms for using Mesh2Metal's website, in-browser CAD analysis, waitlist, and future quote process, including rights, limits, and responsibilities.

Canonical: https://mesh2metal.com/terms

These Terms govern [mesh2metal.com](https://mesh2metal.com/), its in-browser CAD analyzer, waitlist, and any later quote path. Analyzer results are informational, not engineering approval or a binding quote. Mesh2Metal makes no offer to manufacture until you accept a written quote. Effective October 3, 2026.

## Who do these Terms govern?

Mesh2Metal provides the site to visitors and waitlist registrants under these Terms. By accessing the site, checking a design, or registering interest, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a business or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept for it. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Mesh2Metal may apply additional terms to a particular feature; those terms control if they conflict with these Terms.

## What does the site provide, and when is there an offer?

The site describes [how the service works](https://mesh2metal.com/how-it-works), offers in-browser design checks, and may provide a [manufacturability](https://mesh2metal.com/manufacturability) verdict, waitlist access, or a path to a [quote](https://mesh2metal.com/quote). Features, availability, timing, and displayed information may change. A check, score, price indication, or result is not engineering approval, a certification, or a binding quote. You remain responsible for design review, fit, safety, legal compliance, and decisions based on site information. No offer to manufacture exists until Mesh2Metal sends a written quote and you accept it; the accepted quote controls that order.

| Site feature | Meaning under these Terms |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| In-browser check | Informational only; a displayed response may be under 60 seconds. |
| CAD handling | The analyzer runs in your browser; Mesh2Metal does not receive your CAD files through the analyzer. |
| Waitlist | Interest registration, not an order or promise of access. |
| Written quote | Required before any offer to manufacture exists. |
| Effective date | October 3, 2026. |

## Who owns your designs?

You keep all rights in your designs, CAD, specifications, and other materials you create. Mesh2Metal does not receive your CAD files through the analyzer and does not claim ownership of them. You represent that you have the rights needed for any material you intentionally provide through another channel. You grant Mesh2Metal only the limited permission needed to respond to your request, prepare a quote, or provide an agreed service. Mesh2Metal and its licensors retain rights in the site, software, text, marks, and visual materials. No site access transfers those rights.

## What use is allowed?

Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects others’ rights. Do not submit, display, or request unlawful content; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or export rights; impersonate another party; bypass access controls; introduce malicious code; attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the site; or scrape content beyond normal indexing. Do not test the site in a way that creates unreasonable load or evades published limits. Mesh2Metal may suspend access when it reasonably believes use threatens the site, another person, or legal compliance.

## What rules apply to sensitive data?

Please don’t send us export-controlled (ITAR/EAR) technical data until we have set up a compliant path with you — [contact us first](https://mesh2metal.com/contact). You are responsible for classification, authorization, and lawful handling of designs and information you provide outside the analyzer. The browser analyzer is not a promise that a design, material, destination, or transaction is permitted under export rules. Do not place secrets or data belonging to someone else in a submission without permission.

## How do third-party services affect use?

Mesh2Metal may rely on third-party services for hosting, forms, notifications, analytics, identity, or other site functions, and may link to external sites. Third parties may impose their own terms and privacy notices. Mesh2Metal does not control third-party availability, content, security, or practices and is not responsible for them to the extent allowed by law. A third-party link is provided for convenience, not endorsement.

## What disclaimers apply?

The site and its content and features are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” to the fullest extent allowed by law. Mesh2Metal disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, being current, availability, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Site information is not legal, export, safety, or professional engineering advice. You must verify dimensions, requirements, permissions, and results before relying on them. Mesh2Metal does not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free analysis, or that a future quote or service will be available.

## How is liability limited?

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mesh2Metal and its owners, licensors, service providers, and personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business, or opportunities, arising from or related to the site, waitlist, analyzer, third-party services, or these Terms. Mesh2Metal’s total liability for all claims related to the site is limited to the greater of amounts you paid Mesh2Metal for the relevant feature during the 12 months before the event or $100\. These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose and do not limit liability that law does not permit to be limited.

## When must you indemnify Mesh2Metal?

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mesh2Metal and its owners, licensors, service providers, and personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the site, breach of these Terms, violation of law or another party’s rights, or material you provide. Mesh2Metal may control the defense of a claim; you will reasonably cooperate and will not settle a claim imposing an obligation on Mesh2Metal without consent.

## How can these Terms change?

Mesh2Metal may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Material changes may receive additional notice when practical. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms; if you disagree, stop using the site. Mesh2Metal may suspend or end the site or your access at any time. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law, and disputes survive termination.

## What law and venue apply?

California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Los Angeles County, California have exclusive venue for disputes, unless applicable law requires another forum. These Terms are the entire agreement about the site unless a later written quote or feature-specific terms say otherwise.

## How can you contact Mesh2Metal?

Use the [contact page](https://mesh2metal.com/contact) for questions, notices, or a request to discuss a compliant path for sensitive data. A message does not change these Terms unless Mesh2Metal confirms a change in writing.

## Questions

Does an analyzer result approve my design?

No. Analyzer results are informational and do not replace your engineering review, validation, or responsibility for a design.

Does waitlist registration place an order?

No. Waitlist registration only requests updates or access; it does not create an order, quote, or promise of availability.

When can Mesh2Metal make an offer?

Only after Mesh2Metal provides a written quote and you accept it. The accepted quote controls the resulting order.

Can I send export-controlled technical data?

Please don't send export-controlled (ITAR/EAR) technical data until we have set up a compliant path with you — contact us first.
