Mesh2Metal is an El Segundo, Los Angeles company building a fast path from CAD to metal parts with quality certificates. Drop STL, STEP, 3MF, or OBJ files into the browser for local analysis, an instant manufacturability verdict, and a clear quote. Parts are made in under 1 day and delivered the next day up to 5 days, depending on size.

## What do we believe?

What we believe is simple: speed matters, proof belongs with every part, manufacturability answers should be honest, and your files stay yours.

Speed matters because engineering decisions rarely wait for a long queue. The [manufacturability check](https://mesh2metal.com/manufacturability) returns an answer in under 60 seconds. If a design cannot be made, Mesh2Metal says why and how to fix it instead of leaving a team to guess. The [quote](https://mesh2metal.com/quote) includes an exact delivery date tied to the part.

Proof is part of the deliverable. Every part ships with a quality certificate covering chemical composition, porosity and defect map, 3D deviation from your CAD, mechanical properties, thermal properties, traceability, and certificate of conformance. Teams can review the [quality details](https://mesh2metal.com/quality) before choosing a path.

Your files stay yours. STL, STEP/STP, 3MF, and OBJ files are analyzed locally in the browser and never leave your device. That boundary supports early design review without asking a team to send its working files elsewhere.

## What do we make?

What we make are metal parts on demand from customer CAD files. The path uses additive manufacturing: parts are built near-net shape, then receive precision machining where the design calls for it, followed by inspection and a quality certificate. No tooling is required. Available families include aluminum, copper, stainless steel, titanium, nickel, and tool steel, with up to 3 alloys in one part.

| Capability | Range |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| Maximum part size | 800 × 800 × 600 mm; larger on request |
| Quantity | 1–200 parts |
| Machined features | ±0.1 mm standard; ±0.05 mm precision |
| As-built surfaces | ±0.5 mm |
| Surface finish | Machined Ra 3.2 µm standard; 1.6 µm optional |

## Who do we serve?

Who we serve is any team that needs a credible part decision without waiting weeks for basic feedback. Mesh2Metal works with mechanical, hardware, and design engineers; R&D leads; and procurement teams in aerospace, space, defense, automation, and energy. The service fits one-off evaluations, design iterations, replacement parts, and small production quantities from 1–200.

The goal is a clear handoff between design intent and a documented part. Teams can start with a browser check, compare material options, and bring procurement into the same conversation when the design is ready.

## Where are we?

Where we are matters. Mesh2Metal is based in El Segundo, Los Angeles, California, in the South Bay next to LAX. The location puts the company close to a dense aerospace and space ecosystem while serving engineering teams beyond Southern California. ## What’s next?

What’s next is capacity that grows with demand, without losing the direct answers that make the service useful. Mesh2Metal is scaling capacity for more parts, materials, and design checks. Join the [waitlist](https://mesh2metal.com/contact) to follow availability and help shape what comes next.

API and MCP accounts open soon for fast design iteration. Access is free up to approximately 100 checks per day per user, with accounts available through the waitlist. Read about the [API](https://mesh2metal.com/api) and [MCP](https://mesh2metal.com/mcp) paths, then bring your next CAD decision to Mesh2Metal.
